To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
It is essential that the exits from Soldiers Field have as much attention as is accorded to the entrances. As the most direct exit in the direction of the College the Newell memorial gate should be opened immediately at the close of the big games.
To one who was bottled up in that corner after the game Saturday it seemed like gross negligence, on inquiry at the Porter's Lodge, to be told that the man had the key with him "down on the field."
The Newell gate need not always and at all times be an entrance. It should always be available, at least, as an emergency exit. GRADUATE
