At the last meeting of the Athletic Committee, as a result of discussion regarding the winter sports, the following motions were made: First, that between December 1 and April 1 no athletic team representing the University be allowed to take part in contests at such a distance away from Cambridge that it cannot get back that same night; second, that on account of lack of previous notice, the above rule be suspended for the year to such extent as shall seem wise to the Committee. These two motions were discussed and laid on the table. It was moved, also, and voted, that the proper representatives of the fencing team, of the basketball team, and of the hockey team be given a chance to express their views on these motions at the next meeting of the Committee.
