The first of a series of six lectures, to be held in the Geological Lecture Room of the University Museum on successive Friday afternoons, will be given at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon. Assistant Professor Charles Palache will speak on, "The Natural History of the Diamond."
During the quarter hour preceding the lecture a number of books, maps, photographs and specimens illustrating the subject will be exhibited on tables in the lecture room, and will be explained by several members of the Geological Department.
