Chess Tournament.

The annual fall tournament of the chess club will commence on October 7 and will be open to all members of the University. As a result of the tournament, ten men will be selected to play against Yale in Cambridge on November 20. An entrance fee of twenty-five cents will be charged for the tournament and entries may be made, until 8 p. m. on October 6, in the blue books placed for that purpose at Leavitt's and the Union. The team will be coached by E. Southard '98. All men who have any knowledge of the game are urged to come out.
