The Harvard Christian Association held its annual reception to new students in Brooks House last night. The attendance was much larger than usual, nearly two hundred men being present. Great interest was shown in the short addresses by Professor Platner, Mr. C. W. Birtwell '85, Right Reverend William Lawrence '71, Mr. Edward Sturgis '90, and Rev. Dr. Alexander McKenzie. Later in the evening refreshments were served.
The first regular meeting of the Association will be held next Wednesday evening, when it is hoped that a large number of men will attend.
