Fall Lacrosse Begins.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fall practice for the candidates for the Freshman and University lacrosse teams began yesterday afternoon on Holmes Field. Seventeen men reported, and after light practice, consisting mainly of catching, passing, and general stick work, two teams were picked for a short practice game.

The fall practice is designed especially for new men who wish to learn the game, in order that they may be handicapped as little as possible when the regular work begins in the spring. For this reason more men, especially Freshmen, are urged to come out. Practice is at 4 o'clock on Holmes Field every afternoon.
