Sir Frederick Pollock delivered the second of his series of lectures yesterday afternoon in the New Lecture Hall, his subject being "The Scales of Justice." The third lecture, on "The Sword of Justice," will be given at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Professor Pollock yesterday gave a brief description of the duties and functions of the judicial system of Great Britain, speaking particularly of the Courts of King Bench, Chancery, and Equity.
