The first two years' work of the new department in forestry in the Scientific school has been arranged and the courses are now open. The courses offered this year are almost altogether those already given in other departments of the Scientific School. A few technical courses are offered by Mr. R. T. Fisher '98, and other technical courses will be added from time to time. The last two years' work in the department has not been announced yet, but the courses will probably be largely technical. The degree of Bachelor of Science in Forestry will be given to students completing the course.
