The following men have been selected to compose the University tennis team in the intercollegiate championship tournament to be played at Philadelphia next week: B. S. Prentice '05, R. Bishop 3L., J. I. B. Larned '05, C. L. Cole 3L. Prentice was elected captain of the team yesterday afternoon.
The team will go to Philadelphia on Saturday and the tournament will begin on Monday. It is hoped that it will be possible to finish the tournament by the following Saturday. All matches are to be played on the grounds of the Merion Cricket Club at Philadelphia. In the doubles, Bishop and Cole will play together and Prentice and Learned will compose the other team.
