The annual lectures under the auspices of the Cercle Francais will be given this year by M. Leopold Mabilleau, of the Musee Social, in Sanders Theatre on the dates given below. M. Mabilleau will arrive in this country on January 10. He will speak on the general subject: "Political Parties in France." Although M. Mabilleau is not a member of the Administration, he has been in constant touch with the French government, and is therefore well qualified to lecture on this somewhat difficult subject.
Tickets for the course may be obtained from A. C. Champollion, 37 Beck Hall, to whom applications must be sent in writing before February 3, 1903. No person may apply for more than two seats, and applications will be filled in the order of their receipt.
The dates and subjects of the lectures are:
February 10.--Les partis politiques et leurs programmes. Vue d'ensemble.
February 12.--Le Parti conservateur et le clericalisme.
February 14.--Le liberalisme et l'opportunisme.
February 17.--Le parti radical.
February 19.--Le parti socialiste; ses principes et ses divisions.
February 21.--Le neo-socialisme de MM. Jaures et Millerand.
February 24.--Le ministere Waldeck-Rousseau.
