Gymnasium Directors' Meeting.

The sixth annual meeting of the Society of College Gymnasium Directors was held at the New York Athletic Club on December 23 and 24. Delegates from both eastern and western colleges were present, Harvard being represented by Dr. D. A. Sargent. On December 23, Dr. P. C. Phillips, of Amherst president of the Society, delivered the annual address, and among the papers, read was one by Dr. Sargent on "Abuse of Preparatory School Training." The Society of Secondary School Physical Directors met with the college directors at their afternoon session.

On December 24 officers were elected, Dr. Sargent being chosen a member of the executive committee.
