Basketball Throwing Contest.
A silver cup has been offered by the University basketball management to the member of the University who in competition shall throw the greatest number of baskets at distances and under conditions to be announced in the CRIMSON tomorrow. The preliminary trials for this cup will be held in the Gymnasium Saturday and Monday afternoons, January 17 and 19. At that time ten men will probably be qualified. These men will contest the final round for the cup the following evening, Tuesday, January 20. Any member of the University is eligible for this contest.
