It is reported that the will of Mrs. Rebecca C. Ames, widow of the late Fred L. Ames '54, which has just been filed, contains a bequest of $50,000 to the University. By the terms of the will, the income is to be expended for the maintenance at college of "poor and meritorious students." The University has as yet received no official notification of the bequest.
