Conference on Rhodes Scholarships

A number of representatives of the universities and colleges of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut will hold a conference on Saturday, January 24, at 10 a. m., in University Hall, with Dr. George R. Parkin of Toronto, who is now in the United States as the representative of the Rhodes Scholarship Trust. Methods to be followed in allotting the Oxford Scholarships provided for American students by the Rhodes bequest will be discussed.

A similar meeting will be held at the University Club, Boston, on Friday, January 23, for representatives of the educational institutions in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Both conferences will be attended by representatives of public and endowed secondary schools as well as of the universities and colleges.
