Freshman Football Begins.

The candidates for the Freshman football team began practice on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. The work, which was very light, consisted in passing and falling on the ball and in starting when the ball was put in play. Towards the end of the week the line men will be given practice in breaking through, but there will be no line-up until next Monday.

The following schedule has been arranged by the management:

Oct. 11. Groton at Groton.

Oct. 18. Exeter at Cambridge.

Oct. 25. Andover at Andover.

Nov. 1. Worcester at Worcester.

Nov. 15. Yale 1906 at New Haven.
