A rather important change in the division of work among the executive officers of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences went into effect on July 1 with the new appointments of officers. The office of Corresponding Secretary, formerly held by Mr. Cobb, and the office of Recording Secretary, formerly held by Dean Hurlbut were joined into one office, with the title of Secretary of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, which is now held by Mr. J. G. Hart.
