The University has just received a diploma and a Grand Prix bronze medal for the exhibit at the Paris Exhibition in 1900. The diploma has been deposited in the Library and the medal will probably be deposited there later. A Grand Prix medal and a diploma have also been received for the exhibit of the Observatory alone.
The Co-operative Society has received a diploma which is now on exhibition at the Co-operative store. A gold medal was also awarded, but has not yet been received.
