R. W. Magrane '03 was awarded the Ricardo Prize Scholarship of $350 for the year 1902-1903. He wrote on "The State Regulation of Railway Rates." Each candidate was called on to write an essay in the examination room, on a topic chosen by himself, from a list not previously announced in economics and political science.
