The University nine will play Brown this afternoon at 4 o'clock on soldiers field.

A hard game is expected as Brown has her usual strong team, having defeated Amherst by a score of 3 to 2, and having played the following close games with strong college nines: Yale 5, Brown 2; Princeton 2, Brown 1; Holy Cross 5, Brown 0; Williams 4, Brown 2.

As neither Matthews nor Coolidge will be able to play today, a Freshman, H. V. Greenough, will go in at shortstop. Stillman will pitch.
