Changes in English Courses.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the absence of Professor Baker next year, courses 14 and 39 will not be given. English 18 will be in charge of H. B. Huntington '97, who has been assistant in this course during the last half of this year. Mr. Huntington was instructor here in 1897 and 1898 in forensics, and has since done similar work at Dartmouth.

English 30 will be radically changed next year. It will be conducted as a half course in each half year and will be confined entirely to debating. Except by permission of the instructor the course will be open only to students who have taken English 18. Students who have received grade C or above in the first half year of English 18 may take English 30 in the second half year. The course next year will be in charge of R. C. Bolling 2L.
