The University lacrosse team left yesterday afternoon for New York to play Columbia in the last game of the season this afternoon. The team took the Fall River boat last night and arrived in New York this morning. The following men were taken: C.R. Stevenson '02, E.B. Alvord '02, A.E. Goddard '02, R.B. Michell '02, E.B. Chaffee '02, R. Wynne 4M., L.J. Kendall '05, D.P. Penhallow '03, R.E. Binger '03, R.C. Kibbey '04, H.H. Bennett '04, J.P. Hoguet '04 and R.A. Wood '03.

Wynne at coverpoint should be effective against the fast attack of the Columbia team. With Alvord and Penhallow playing the principal attack positions, Harvard should be able to score in the first part of the game.
If the team wins the game this afternoon, Harvard will take second place in the league standing. In case Columbia wins, three teams will be tied for second place. None of these ties, however, will be played off. The game will be called at 2 o'clock on the Columbia oval.
The line up will be as follows:
