Second Nine, 11; Andover, 3.

The Second nine defeated Andover on Saturday in a rather uninteresting game, by the score of 11 to 3. The Harvard team was unexpectedly superior in every department of the game to a nine which had held down the University team to two runs. The feature of the game was Hutchinson's masterly pitching. He had almost perfect control, allowed only three hits and gave but two bases on balls. Brown made a poor showing in the box for Andover and had ragged support.

The score by innings:   1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9  r.  h.  e. Second Nine,  3  0  0  0  0  4  0  4  x  11  10  3 Andover,  1  0  0  0  0  0  0  0  2  3  3  2.
