The Sophomore baseball team defeated the Freshmen yesterday afternoon in a close game by a score of 12 to 11. Alexander was unsteady with men on bases but in the last inning he showed coolness and good control. Timmins who pitched for the Freshmen was ineffective. He was replaced by Smith in the ninth inning.
