New Manager of Athletics.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

H. Blythe 2L. has been appointed graduate manager of athletics for next year by the Athletic Committee. C. H. Schweppe '02, who has filled this office during the past year, recently gave it up to go into business in Boston. Blythe will go into office at the expiration of the present term on September 1. He was manager of his Freshman football team and managed the '99 University eleven in his Senior year.

The Athletic Committee has departed from the usual procedure in appointing also an assistant graduate manager. R. Ernst '03 has been chosen to fill the position. This appointment is made with a view to keeping a trained man always in readiness to fill the place of the regular manager; and under ordinary-conditions that place will probably pass to the assistant. Ernst managed his Freshman eleven and was second assistant manager of the '99 University football team.
