Laverack defeated C. W. Moore, 6-1, 6-4; R. A. Bidwell defeated V. Whitney by default; W. L. Holt defeated H. T. Eaton, 6-3, 6-8, 6-3; R. Bishop defeated R. S. Goodrick, 6-4, 6-3.

The following matches are to be played today at the times stated. Singles: At 2.00--E. Leonard vs. J. S. Seabury; at 2.30--O. J. Ives vs. C. M. Rotch; E. Fischel vs. A. Schwab; at 4.00--W. S. Warland vs. W. O. Herrick; R. A. Bidwell vs. R. Stearns; H. D. Stickney vs. C. R. Stevenson; at 4.30--W. L. Holt vs. S. H. Derby.

Doubles: At 3.00--Mason and George vs. Leaycraft and Weatherwax; at 4.00--Brownson and Hackett vs. Putnam and Rotch; Burgess and Eustis vs. Thomas and Ware. At 4.15--Suppes and More vs. Morley and Beyer.
