The preliminary rounds in the Leiter Cup baseball series have been played, and the winners of the sections are as follows: Section I--Anythings, Section II--Boers, Section III--Incognitos. The finals will begin on Wednesday, when the Anythings will play the Boers. On Thursday the Boers will play the Incognitos, and on Friday the Anythings the Incognitos. In case of rain the games will be postponed, and the teams will not be credited with half a game, as heretofore. The team winning the greatest percentage of games in the finals will be declared the winner of the series.
After the completion of the series an All-Leiter Cup team will be picked by the captains of the three teams in the finals, which will play the Second nine. The captains of the three teams must hand in, at the office of the H. A. A. before tomorrow noon, a list of players not exceeding 15 men which cannot be changed during the finals. No man will be allowed to play with any one of the three teams in the finals who has not played with that team in some of the preliminary games.
