Sophomores Win Lacrosse Game.

The Sophomore lacrosse team defeated the Freshmen Saturday afternoon in the second game for the class championship by a score of 5 to 1. The game was characterized by ragged playing on both sides. The Sophomores' scoring was due to the weak defense of the Freshman team. Hoguet and Kibbly played a strong game on the defense for the Sophomores. Blaxter and Adams did effective work for the Freshmen.

The line-up was as follows: 1904.  1905. Leake,  goal,  Kendall. Tufts,  point,  Phillips. de Roode,  cover-point,  Lehman Atwood,  1st defense,  Dial. Fisher,  2d defense,  Rice. Kibbey,  3d defense,  Brooks, Jackson. Hoguet,  centre,  Adams. Bourne,  3d attack,  Baldwin, Davis. Hersey, Wait,  2d attack,  Lincoln. Bennett,  1st attack,  Blaxter. Smith,  outside home,  Outerbridge. French,  inside home,  Hayes.

Goals--1904: French 2, Bourne 2, Smith; 1905: Outerbridge.

FINAL GAME TODAY.

The Seniors will play the Sophomores in the final game for the class championship this afternoon at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field. Although the Senior team has several University players, the Sophomores have a strong defense and with snappy play should make the game close. Two twenty minute halves will be played.
