8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports

Second Nine, 12; Cambridge Latin, 10.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Second nine defeated Cambridge Latin School yesterday afternoon in a very poorly played game by the score of 12 to 10. The fielding of both teams was erratic and most of the runs were scored on errors. Hutchinson pitched an ineffective game for the Second, giving seven bases on balls. Although Burns, the Latin School pitcher, was weak the Second nine seemed unable to hit to any advantage. With the exception of the fourth inning, when six hits were made, the batting was wretched. In that inning Marshall made a three base hit with the bases full and came in on Clark's two base hit.

The score by innings:   1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9 r.  h.  e. Second nine,  0  0  1  6  0  0  3  2  x--12  12  4 C. L.S.,  1  0  0  2  2  0  4  0  1--10  11  8
