G. W. Weld '60, C. G. Weld '81, F. P. Fish '75, N. Thayer '71 and J. J. Storrow '85 have contributed a fund to be used for purchasing new boats and oars for the Weld and Newell Boat Clubs. It has been placed in the hands of the Athletic Committee with the request that the Athletic Committee use its discretion in purchasing the boats, which will be equally divided between the two clubs. It is probable four singles will be built this summer and will be ready for use next fall.
