Graded Crews Formed.

Rowing for the graded crews began yesterday afternoon. At the Newell, two crews were formed, which were coached for about half an hour by Vail from a single. Two more eights will be formed today. At the Weld four crews were made up which rowed to the Union Boat Club and back, without coaching.

The orders of the graded crews at both clubs are as follows:

First Newell--Stroke, Brownell; 7, Morris; 6, Foster; 5, Haycock; 4, Stone; 3, Cruger; 2, Low; bow, Clark.

Second Newell--Stroke, Roosevelt; 7, James; 6, Scott; 5, Rainsford; 4, Davie; 3, Bard; 2, Stevens; bow, Letchworth.

First Weld--Stroke, Wolcott; 7, Lindsley; 6, Richardson; 5, Bent; 4, Greenough; 3, George; 2, Minturn; bow, Dillingham.

Second Weld -- Stroke, Roberts; 7, Maltby; 6, Brooks; 5, Blaikie; 4, May; 3, Peabody; 2, Hatch; bow, Sherburne.
