Plans for moving the Samaritan Hospital from McLean street, Boston, to the grounds of the new Medical School in Brookline are being considered and it is probable that they will be adopted. In order to take such a step, however, the trustees of the Hospital and the authorities of the Medical School will have to come to an agreement and purchase land for the purpose. The proposed change, which will not come in any case until after the completion of the new Medical School, would bring the Samaritan Hospital very near the School; and this seems in many respects advantageous. It is also likely that several other large Boston hospitals will eventually be moved to Brookline.
