The first shoot for the prize gun will be held on Soldiers Field this afternoon from 2 to 5 o'clock. Each contestant will shoot at 30 birds thrown at unknown angles, and the score made will be increased by his handicap. There are to be in all six shoots, which will be held regularly on Mondays and Thursdays of the next six weeks. The four best scores made by each man in the shoots will be added together and the gun will be awarded to the man having the highest total.
The shooting team will hold a match with the Birch Brook gun club next Saturday on Soldiers Field.
