The University baseball team will play the first game of the southern trip in Washington this afternoon against the University of Virginia. Yale has already played a tie game with Virginia, the score being 2 to 2. Princeton won from the same team with a score of 9 to 8. In a game with the University of Pennsylvania, Virginia forfeited in the tenth inning, withdrawing because of darkness while the score stood 2 to 2.

After playing Virginia, the team will make its headquarters at Annapolis for the week, playing the Naval Academy on Tuesday and Thursday.

The team will start north on Friday, and play a game with West Point on Saturday.
