The Second Nine defeated the Freshmen in a practice game yesterday afternoon by the score of 7 to 0. The Freshmen were poor in batting, but held together fairly well in the field. Most of the Second Nine's runs were made on wild throws to first base. The positions were frequently changed, and each man on the squads was given a chance to play. The teams at the start batted as follows:
