The University basketball team defeated Brown last night in the Gymnasium by the score of 39 to p. Harvard played an unusually strong game and completely outplayed Brown, particularly toward the end of the second half when seven goals were scored in rapid succession. Harvard had excellent teamwork and kept the ball almost entirely in Brown's territory.
The game on the whole was very roughly played by both sides, and many fouls were consequently made. Individually, Randall played the best game for Harvard and Ray for Brown.
