Under the direction of J. W. Farley 2L., spring football practice began on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. The men were instructed in the rudiments of the game, and for about 45 minutes practiced starting, running down the field on kicks and catching and falling on the ball. Next week teams will be formed and a series of games arranged.
