The second and last performance of the Deutscher Verein play, "Der Herr Senator," was given Saturday night in Union Hall, Boston. The play went off much more smoothly than at the performance in Brattle Hall, and there was less prompting and hesitation. Robinson as "Mittlebach" and Chase as "Stephanie" did the best individual acting. The excellent pronunciation, which showed painstaking and careful preparation, was one of the best features of the performance.
