"Der Herr Senator."

The first performance of "Der Herr Senator," this year's German play, was given last night in Brattle Hall. The play went off smoothly and was appreciated by a large audience. The production showed careful preparation, excellent coaching, and was remarkable for the fact that all the cast spoke the lines with a good German accent. The work of Robinson and Brooks as Mittelbach and Gehring was especially good. The female characters were well portrayed, and their elaborate gowns added greatly to their appearance.

The second and last performance of "Der Herr Senator" will be given this evening at 8.15 o'clock in Union Hall, Boston.
