The University basketball team has decided to cancel the game with the Silent Five, which was to have been played tonight in New York. The challenge was accepted some time ago. The game has been given up because it was found necessary to enter the A. A. U. in order to play. In addition it was considered inadvisable to play a match on the evening before the Columbia game, which will be held tomorrow night in New York.
