Senior Hockey Team Defeated.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Senior hockey team was defeated by Andover yesterday afternoon by a score of 3 to 1. The game was close owing to the fact that the Andover team was not up to its standard, while the Seniors showed considerable improvement and played much faster than usual. Shortly after the beginning of the second half the teams were tied at 1 to 1, but on lucky drives Andover made two more goals and succeeded in holding the lead to the end. The Seniors' one point was scored in the second half during a scrimmage directly in front of Andover's goal. Chaffee and Hodge were the strongest players. The line-up: HARVARD 1902.  ANDOVER. Cook, f.  f., Hodge. Metcalf, f.  f., Alworth. Chaffee, f.  f., Dousman. Burgess, f.  f., O'Brien. O'Connell, Russe, c.p.  c.p., P. L. Reed. Stevenson, p.  p., Silleck. Peirce, g.  g., Heckscher.
