The Harvard Chess Club has received an official notification of its standing in the Metropolitan Chess League. The team ranks sixth in the league with two games won, three lost and two drawn. Several of the games, however, have been lost by default owing to the mid-year period. The next game that Harvard will play will be with the B. A. A. in Boston on February 13.
