A meeting in the interest of the proposed building for the Department of Philosophy, Emerson Hall, has just been arranged by the Visiting Committee. As yet the exact date is undetermined, but the meeting will probably be held in Boston toward the end of next week, special invitations being sent to men interested in the undertaking.

The purposes of the building and the place it will occupy in the University will be described by several speakers, including President Eliot and Professor Munsterberg. Mr. R. H. Dana '74 will preside.
