At a meeting of the Board of Overseers yesterday, it was voted to concur with the president and follows in their vote appointing Dr. E. A. Darling instructor in Hygiene, his term dating from September 1, 1901.

Four Freshman eights went out yesterday from the Weld and three from the Newell. The length of the course for the Freshman races on November 19 has been changed from a mile and seven-eighths to a mile and a half.

The Intercollegiate Basketball League, composed of Harvard, Yale, Pennsylvania and Cornell will hold a formal business meeting at New Haven tomorrow to settle finally the schedule for the winter. J. Browne '03, manager of the team, will represent Harvard.
