Baseball practice for all battery candidates and for the Freshmen has now been going on for a week. The batteries are working up gradually under careful coaching, and the Freshmen are being coached in fielding and in catching runners between bases. The rest of the candidates for the University nine came out yesterday for the first time and went through a short fielding practice.
