The first annual dinner of the Christian Association will be held in the Assembly Room of the Union at six o'clock tonight. Mr. Edward Sturgis '90, of New York, will act as toast-master, and the speakers will be Bishop Lawrence '71 of Massachusetts, President Eliot, Major Higginson, Mr. E. J. Wendell '82, Mr. H. B. Wright, Yale '98, W. T. Reid '01, E. C. Carter '00, G. E. Huggins '01, and O. G. Frantz '03.
About 125 men will be present, among whom will be Col. N. P. Hallowell '61, Judge Samuel Hoar '67, Mr. R. T. Paine '55, Dr. F. G. Peabody '69, Dr. D. W. Abercrombie '76 of Worcester Academy, Mr. S. W. Sturgis '90 of Groton, Mr. W. G. Thayer of St. Mark's, Mr. Gibson Bell '01 of St. Paul's, and the members of the 1901 football team.
Twenty tickets for the dinner, at $2.00 each, will be on sale at the office of the Union today.
