At the first of the Political Club's series of winter meetings last night. Mr. Grafton D. Cushing, President of the Boston School Board, gave an interesting talk on general politics, illustrated by examples from his own experience. He advised young men entering politics to ally themselves to one party or another, yet to have courage to resist all measures that they considered unworthy. He also spoke of the desirability of having a large number of nonpartisan votes.
