Yale Debating System Changed.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A new debating system will be tried at Yale in preparation for the Harvard-Yale debate. Under the proposed plan there will be a series of inter-department debates for the university championship. The Law, Divinity, Academic and Scientific departments will select teams by competitive trials from the debating clubs in these departments. The Academic department will then debate against the Scientific School, and the Law School against the Divinity School; and the winners of these two debates will meet to decide the championship. The men who make the best showing in these preliminary trials will be selected to debate against Harvard.
