Freshmen Win at Hockey.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman hockey team defeated the Sophomores in the deciding game of the preliminary series yesterday afternoon on Spy Pond by the score of 2 to 1. This victory entitles the Freshmen to play three games with the Seniors for the interclass championship.

The reason for the Sophomore team's defeat was its lack of unity. The Freshmen showed the best team work they have had so far and succeeded in making one point in each half. The score would very probably have been larger, but for the excellent playing of Ivy at goal.

The line-up: 1904.  1905. Parker, f.  f., Kernan. Wait, f.  f., Callaway. Souther, f.  f., Wagstaff. Manson, f.  f., Prentice. Sanger, c.p.  c.p., Wheeler. Rockwell, p.  p., Sard. Ivy, g.  g., Kendall.

Goals: Freshmen--Prentice 2; Sophomores--Souther. Time--20 minute halves.
