The first practice on ice for the hockey squad was held on Artificial Pond yesterday afternoon. All the men were given a trial and the work was fairly fast for the first outdoor practice. A cut in the squad will be made at the end of the week, and after that the practice will be held on the rink on Holmes Field, which will probably be ready at that time.
