Professor R. deC. Ward yesterday afternoon delivered the second of the series of four public Friday afternoon lectures which are being given by the Geological Department of the University. Professor Ward's subject was "Clouds, their Formation and Classification." He explained the division of cloud structure into ten classes which vary considerably in relation to the distance from the earth, and then by lantern slides illustrated the formation and appearance of clouds of each class.
